Accessing RDF using the ADO.Net Provider

ADO.Net 1.x, 2.x, and 3.x related matters.

Ok that's good to know.

Your command line code is roughly the same code as I had written so once I have the updated Provider then I expect my code should work fine

Thanks,

Hi Rob,

A new version of the provider is available at
ftp://download.openlinksw.com/support/v ... rtado3.dll

You can replace your existing provider with this new one but you will also have to ensure it is registered in
assembly cache by then dragging it into C:\WINDOWS\Assembly.

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately I now can't test it since my evaluation license for Virtuoso has now expired :-(

Is it possible to get an extension on this or should I consider switching to the open source version (are there any differences)?

Hi Rob,

Please confirm what OS you are running on and I can send you an extended evaluation license.

The only difference between the Virtuoso 5.x commercial and open source releases is that the latter does not have Virtual database support thus you cannot access data from remote databases or perform replication between Virtuoso instances.
