Error 1114 on Windows XP, Lite version 6.0

Yesterday, I downloaded the latest version of ODBC driver for Sybase. The sample app that came with it works fine against the system DSN I created. However, I started a project in Visual Studio .Net 2003 using MFC and the connection to database throws an exception with the following text:

Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1114 (OpenLink Lite for SQL Server and Sybase [6.0])

Please help.

Did you download the Release 6.0 or 6.1 ODBC Driver, as the issue you report is known and was fixed in the Release 6.1 Drivers available for download back in 2007 ?

Please, check the version, release and build date of the Driver by right clicking the DLL itself ntl6ftds.dll in the <INSTALL_DIR>/bin directory, selecting properties and check the build identifier in the Version Tab.
