OAT.Pivot state management

Postby feamsr00 on Thu Feb 18, 2010 12:38 pm

Hello Everybody,

Once a pivot table is rendered and the user interacts with it (moves headings, changes formulas, etc). What would be the recomended way to grab and save that state and then to re-instantiate the table again matching the saved state?

Thanks in advance for any help or insight. :)

I too would like to know if this is possible. Any news?
Also I'd like to know if there is a way that this resorted data can be easily extracted and saved. I tried using the toXML function but it only provides the data in it's original form and not in its resorted form.
Is it possible?

Hi Hugh,

Any news about this issue ? It would be great if we could have a configuration for oat pivot to be able to save the state, probably in a cookie.

Thanks!
